In order to protect young drivers and their passengers against extreme driving, DongleApps has created RookieDongle. It is a tiny device that plugs into a cars ODB port. It has a GPS and mobile connection which ensures it is always connected to the cloud. When reckless driving occurs, parents or guardians are directly notified via email or SMS.
Each driver and each trip receives a score, which becomes visible in a secure account. When a driver is driving safe, within the tolerance level, the locations, speeds, times of departure and arrival remain invisible to the parents.
